  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta penne, spaghetti, or your favorite
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

Cooking Instructions:

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and parsley, stirring to combine.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Slice the chicken and place it on top.
  • Serve hot, topped with extra parsley or Parmesan, if desired.

Notes

Recipe Notes:
  • For a lighter version, use olive oil instead of butter and add more lemon juice for a fresh kick.
  • You can swap chicken for shrimp or tofu for a variation.
  • Don’t skip letting the chicken rest before slicing—it keeps it juicy!
