Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles optional
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions

    Step 1: Prep the chicken

    • If you haven’t already cooked your chicken, now’s the time. Grab that rotisserie chicken, shred it up, and set it aside.
    • If you’re feeling fancy, you can also boil or bake chicken breasts, then shred. But to be honest, rotisserie chicken is life for this recipe!

Step 2: Get the creamy base going

    • In a medium saucepan, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce.
    • Stir it together over medium heat until it’s all nice and smooth.
    • A tip: Make sure the cream cheese is softened before you start. Nobody wants lumpy dip!

    Step 3: Add the chicken

    • Once your creamy base is ready, add the shredded chicken to the mix. Stir until it’s all coated in that rich buffalo goodness. Your kitchen is about to smell amazing.

    Step 4: Add the cheese

    • Now for the cheese. Throw in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and stir until it’s melted and gooey.
    • If you want that extra blue cheese kick, put in the crumbles too. Stir it all together like your life depends on it (okay, maybe not that seriously, but you get the vibe).

    Step 5: Bake it

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Put the dip into a baking dish (a 9x9-inch works great), then top it with a little extra cheddar cheese.
    • Pop it in the oven for 20-25 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden on top. You’ll know it’s ready when your kitchen starts to smell delicious.

    Step 6: Serve and enjoy

    • Once it’s out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes (if you can wait!). Serve it with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or anything else your heart desires.
    • And of course, don’t forget to grab a bite before everyone else does, it’s really that good.

    Notes

    • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less buffalo sauce.
    • For a creamier dip, add extra cream cheese or ranch dressing.
